Touch was the key

Helen Keller
lost her sight
and hearing when she was 19 months old. Her teacher, Anne Sullivan established communication with her when she ran cool water over Helen’s hand while using her fingers to spell the word “water” on Helen’s other hand. This was the inspiration for our logo.

Touching vibrations
Helen learned to speak by feeling the vibrations created by Anne's speech
